‘No Fixed Address’

Counter Point at the State of Design 2010 presents the culmination of a collaborative workshop and studio by RMIT University’s Schools of Industrial and Interior Design.  Working with The Social Studio – a fashion and textiles training organization for refugee communities, Counter Point presents a participatory installation and retail store  ‘The Social Studio | No Fixed Address’.

Situated on the level 1 Lonsdale Street bridge within Melbourne Central, this retail installation challenges the current big-box retail paradigm and invites you to test and experience two peddle powered retail prototypes. Featuring transformable bikes as kiosks, this event opens with gala fashion parade on Friday, July 16.
